Champ d'activité

Issuing and publishing of national standards, and adoption of foreign and international standards as national standards; participation in the technical work programme of Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO). It is also prepares, amends and publishes the approved Bahraini Technical Regulations and conformity assessments to meet the national requirements for human health, safety and environment protection in line with the international practices in this role. In addition, BSMD is responsible for Industrial & legal metrology activities.
